Dr. Texidor specializes in brain-behavior relationships with particular expertise in evaluating and treating neuropsychological dysfunctions as a result of emotional, physical, and sexual abuse, neglect, and/or abandonment during childhood, particularly as it pertains to attachment and bonding issues.

Dr. Texidor has more than thirty years of experience evaluating and treating children, adolescents, and adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI), reactive attachment disorder (RAD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety, mood disorder, and social impairments. In addition, Dr. Texidor is also knowledgeable and experienced in evaluating and treating burn survivors and carbon monoxide victims.

Furthermore, Dr. Texidor is involved in training foster/adoptive parents, professionals, paraprofessionals, and biological parents in an array of topics including Anger Management, ADHD, Neurodevelopmental Milestones as it pertains to Attachment, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Anxieties, Mood Disorders, and the efficacy of Neurobiofeedback training as an intervention modality. Dr. Texidor has been a guest lecturer at Arizona State University on topics including Traumatic Brain Injury and Personality Changes after Traumatic Brain Injury.

Niki Texidor has served in her capacity of Practice Manager since 1997 and as a Neurobehavioral Specialist since 1990. Niki has expertise in working with children and adolescents who are in need of applied behavioral programming as a result of multiple handicapping conditions, abuse, and neglect. Niki provides parents and patients with strategies on how to deal with school related issues both from her experience as a regular and special education teacher. Niki's vast expertise in natural supplements and nutritional needs of children, adolescents and adults is an asset to our families in need of guidance as to what might be appropriate to address some of the issues resulting from early neglect, trauma, and/or abuse.


Alexis Meinhold, M.C., LPC

Alexis "Lexi" Meinhold graduated from Arizona State University in 1976 with a degree in Special Education and in 1980 with a Masters in Counseling. After a short tour working for the Mesa Public School District, Lexi's interest in working with children with emotional difficulties and their families, led her to the St. Luke's Young Adult Program, where she was initially the teacher for the program, and later became a clinical supervisor. After working for St. Luke's, Lexi helped in developing and implementing the Arizona Youth for Change (AYC) program which was the first day treatment program in Arizona for children and adolescents in the Phoenix area. Lexi worked in several roles at AYC including intake coordinator, family therapist, and program manager. After St. Luke's, Lexi also worked as a drug and alcohol prevention counselor for City of Tempe Social Services and as a counselor at both Tempe and McClintock High Schools providing individual and group counseling services to high risk adolescents. Lexi has been with East Valley Neurofeedback and Peak Performance Center since 2005 providing both neurofeedback and counseling services.


Allison Tong

Allison Tong works in the office part-time while going to school to complete her undergraduate degree in Psychology. She is our go to person as it pertains to everyday office demands, insurance benefits and billing, answering patients' questions regarding services, and scheduling of patients.


Rebecca Sherlin
EEG Technologist
Neurofeedback Technician

Rebecca Sherlin has worked as an EEG technician providing QEEG recordings, QEEG analysis, and as a Neurofeedback technician since 2002. Rebecca graduated Magna Cum Laude in Electroencephalograph Technology from the California College of Health Sciences with her intership completed at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital. She is a member of the American Society for Electroneurodiagnostic Technologists and the International Society for Neurofeedback and Research.
